I work as an administrator with the Ramase Lajan recycling program. In the beginning, I had trouble establishing a good client base. There were other people who were also buying and selling plastics throughout my city. But after Samaritan’s Purse staff members assisted me, I was able to revise my strategies to create my own clientele and keep them.
My success in the program is not in the profits that I have made but in the way I’ve been able to bounce back after reaching rock bottom. The opportunity that Samaritan’s Purse has offered me to spread the Gospel to my customers continues to be the highlight of my work. However, happiness in my success is also rooted in seeing how many people in my community I can help from money they earn in taking their plastics to the centers.
I believe that God will help the program to continue moving forward. Thanks to all the partners who have made this program a reality.
